Caring for your pieces
We have one off pieces ethically handcrafted by a families of artisan jewellers in Turkey & India bringing our designs to life. We may only have small amounts in stock of some items at a time due to their handmade nature. This is what makes your items truly unique!
If there is a product you like which is sold out please email us and we may be able to arrange to have a piece made or customised. We can often offer different colour and stone custom orders, so please feel free to ask! Certain items may take a few weeks to come back into stock as we are a small business and items are hand crafted. We may offer a pre order option.
Each item has the materials used specified. We use Silver, Brass and micron gold plating for our pieces along with Natural stones and pearls.
Please be aware everything is hand crafted & the use of natural stones/pearls mean that each piece will differ slightly form the images shown.
We expect to see natural marks and differences in stones and pearls with different textures and looks. These characteristics & natural imperfections on stones and pearl are normal & expected when using precious and natural materials. Some pearls may also have small drill holes which is part of the extraction process worldwide, and the positioning may differ from pearl to pearl. This is not a fault & items cannot be returned on this basis.
Inside every order you will receive a care card reminding you how to care for your pieces.
We recommend storing each piece individually in the box or cotton pouch you receive with your order away from other pieces. We recommend removing jewellery to shower/bathe & avoid contact with sprays,lotions and perfumes as they can rest with the materials.
Occasionally you may be sensitive to materials used such as silver which may leave a black or green mark on the skin. This is usually from reacting with your skin type and any products you may have on your skin. Some people are more prone to this than others and it is not a cause for concern if you aren't experiencing any discomfort. This is NOT a fault and does not mean the pieces are of poor quality, it is simply a reactive process. No returns will be allowed on this basis unless there is damage we deem our fault.
Left out they may tarnish. To clean your pieces we recommend using the complimentary cloth you receive with your order. Please do not use anything else other than a jewellery cloth as this may remove or damage plating.
Please be aware we cannot accept returns on earrings due to hygiene.
You can return your items within 14 days of receiving your order, here's how:

The item you would like to return must be sent back to us in the same condition you received it in, and in the original packaging you were sent the product in. Any items that look worn or used or damaged will not be accepted and sent back to the sender.
Our return policy is 14 days. All items must be sent back to us within 14 days of you receiving your order.
Once we have checked your returned items and are satisfied they meet our return policy we will email you to confirm we have received your item and will apply a credit to your original method of payment within 10 days.
Postal costs/method will be your responsibility when returning an item and shipping costs are non refundable. Shipping costs from your original order will be deducted before any refunds are given. We strongly recommend you choose a payment method which shows proof of sending and for multiple items we recommend you track the service or insure the items. We take no responsibility for any items sent to us that are not received.
Damaged or defected items:
In the instance that your item is damaged or defected you must inform us within 14 days of receiving the item for an exchange or refund. Tarnishing is not classed as damage, when exposed to chemicals. Please follow our care instructions to ensure you are looking after your pieces. We are happy to replace your item if it is damaged or defected within 6 months of purchase, however this does not include shipping costs, and you will need to cover shipping costs to return the items to us.
Promotions and sales:
sales and promotions are applicable from when they are live. Items purchased at a full price will not be applicable to those offers after we have taken payment.
Any promotional codes will only be accepted once at a time
Missing or late refunds:
Please allow 10 days for refunds to be processed. If after this time you have not received your refund, please first check with your bank account again, then contact your bank or credit card provider. If they are unable to give you an answer please email us.
We use Royal mail as our delivery method. You can select from, tracked 48, tracked 24 & special delivery.
Orders placed Mon-Friday will be shipped within 2 working days, although we endeavour to dispatch your items the same day if the order is placed before 4pm. You will receive a confirmation email once your item has been shipped. Orders placed after 4pm will be shipped the next working day. Orders placed on a weekend will be shipped the following Monday.
NON UK ORDERS - Please note, you may incur taxes or customers charges to receive your item in your country. We do not take any liability for such charges, once the items are dispatched by us any further charges are your responsibility.
If your items cannot be delivered then we accept no responsibility for any missing or delayed items once Royal mail have received the items. It is your responsibility to update tacking with an requests, safe places or diversions. You will need to contact Royal mail directly using the tracking number provided on your dispatch email.
Privacy & terms of service.
At Charlotte Alegria we are committed to protecting your privacy.Therefore, we will only use the information we collect about you to process your orders and keep you up to date about our special offers and promotions. You may opt out of this by emailing us at email@example.com at any time.
We do not trade, sell or rent your personal information to others and we have strict guidelines in place for the storage of your information used for the above purposes only.

Before purchasing please ensure you are familiar with our return policy and terms. BY purchasing any item from us you are bound to our terms of service and return policy.

Any changes , additions or amendments to our service or to this site is also included in our terms of service to which any customer or user of this site is bound. It is your responsibility to check for any changes, not ours.
We cannot and will not take responsibility for any error made by the customer inputting orders or information to our site.
We reserve the right to modify the price to our products at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any their party for any amendments on this site.
We may have limited quantities of products which may/may not be available at any given time. We will ensure we make every effort to display accurate up to date information . Please be aware that your computer or phone/tablet display may make product colour changes which we take no responsibility for. We reserve the right to refuse or limit sales to may individual and it is not allowed under any circumstances to re sell or profit from any products purchased from us or to use our site /products to gain money. Any sales or offers listed on the site may end refused or prohibited to any person deemed as using the site inappropriately.
We take no responsibility of the products purchased on this site do not meet your expectations and make every effort to display and describe our products as accurately as possible.
In the event we need to contact you regarding your order or if we choose to refuse your order we will email you using the email address/contact details you provide.
We are not liable for any third party links on this website. Please ensure you read and understand / adhere to any third party's own policies, terms and procedures and contact them accordingly should you need to.
You are prohibited to using this site, content or products for any unlawful practice, or to solicit others to engage in unlawful practice.
It is also prohibited to enage in any racist, abusive or harassing behaviour through this site. It is also prohibited to discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, race, disability, religion or ethnicity through this site. It is prohibited to use this site to cause harm, spread virus or upload any false/unlawful/misleading information that would in any way affect this site or the operation of our service.
It is prohibited to interested with any security features of this site or related website or third party.
We reserve the right to ban use of this site and contact relevant authorities for any misuse of our terms and policies.
Please note our products are guaranteed by any manufacturing faults for 6 months only. This warranty is void if any damage is down to general customer misuse, bleach, perfume, heat, and so forth.
We cannot be made liable for any orders that go missing after the product has been received by you the customer. This includes when items have been left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
